So what do we do with this day? As a church, we are joining with other students across the country for CrossCon over winter break to discuss and discover that very topic.
From Dec 31-Jan 2, we’ll head to St. Louis for CROSSCon. This conference exists to call this generation to make their lives count by making Jesus’ name known.
WHO ARE WE GOING WITH? • Of the thousands of attendees, most are 18–25 years old and come with their church, campus ministry, or a group of friends. • CROSS is designed for Christians who want to grow in their understanding of Scripture, the local church, and God’s heart for the nations. • Non-Christians and skeptics are welcome. We aim to speak clearly and avoid assuming everyone in the room already believes.
WHAT HAPPENS AT CROSS? Three days centered on the gospel, the church, and the nations. This includes -
Main Talks Pastors carefully open Scripture, proclaiming the gospel and applying God’s Word to the questions shaping this generation.
Conversations Guided discussions press the main-session teaching further into doctrine, discipleship, church life, and missions.
Singing We sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs together—responding to the truth of God’s Word with joy.
Prayer We ask God to open blind eyes, strengthen faith, and send laborers into His harvest.
Breakouts Focused, interactive teaching helps attendees think biblically about theology, evangelism, suffering, missions, and everyday church life.
Exhibit Hall & Bookstore Meet carefully vetted ministries and discover books and resources that help turn conviction into faithful next steps.
WHAT ARE THE OTHER DETAILS? Travel - We’ll organize carpools from Normal to get to St Louis Lodging - Cornerstone will provide lodging at an AirBNB or Hotel, either with rooms shared by gender Cost - Cornerstone is subsidizing the conference costs, so all you need to pay is $200 for the conference, food, and lodging.
