While each of us who visit Cornerstone might see ourselves as a part of the church (and in many functional ways, we are), we believe Membership in a Church creates a clear pathway for spiritual stewardship and authority. Membership allows Cornerstone's elders to know who has said they are under the care of the church. Membership allows Cornerston'e's members to know what their elders are committing to in their care. We reserve roles of leadership in our church to members, knowing that there is a mutual commitment. In our membership class, we will explore questions like "what is the church" and "why membership."

To attend the class does not mean you are committing to being a member. Rather, it gets you a chance to more intentionally explore membership.
